Kieth Wallace (1964-2010)
If you knew Kieth, you know that he would cringe and crack jokes at a sappy "All about what a great guy he was" section. So we'll honor that memory & keep things factual, especially since there's no denying what a devoted and loving father, brother, uncle, & friend he was.
Kieth loved his family, the Chicago Blackhawks, blues & jazz music, an ice cold corona, and golf. So in his honor, we golf once a year and the proceeds from that day are donated to a local family to help offset their medical bills while undergoing treatment in their fight against cancer.
Kieth fought colon cancer for over a decade and won. He enjoyed life for several years in remission. In the summer of 2010 he was diagnosed with esophageal cancer and was taken from us in December of 2010.

Who are we?
We are part of Kieth's surviving family: his brother Garry, nieces CJ & Kelli, & friend Jennifer.
Uncle Kieth (as I know him) and his son Kyle lived with our family for a few years. When they moved out, we still spent holidays, birthdays, graduations, etc. together. That Christmas in 2010 was a difficult one as he was barely hanging on. Uncle Kieth was such a lovable guy. He kept my secrets, helped out with homework, and was always there when I needed him.
Rather than being sad about losing him, we have decided to celebrate his life and work toward helping others live longer. I would be honored if you would come and golf with my dad (Garry) or spend the day at the clubhouse with Jennifer and I. If you knew Kieth, tell me a story about him. If you didn't know Kieth, I want to hear about who you're golfing for. Cancer touches so many of us. Let's work together to lessen its effects.
As someone who knew him, loved him, and appreciated all the time I got with him; I am fighting today so that your family doesn't have to experience the same kind of loss. - CJ

Kieth Wallace Memorial Fund is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization committed to helping those who are battling cancer. Thanks to our generous participants, sponsors, and donors we have (as of Dec 1, 2017) been able to donate over $6,000 directly to research and put over $34,000 straight into the hands of survivors to help offset their costs while undergoing treatment as well as support cancer research.
